One Motivated Cyclist

I told my friend Jason about my beer cellar. He got on his bicycle in Duluth MN. and peddled up to see it. After a 3400 mile ride I had to tell him that none of the beers were ready to drink. My bad.

Shrinx: Guide, Philosopher, Lip Ripper

Fly doesn't even begin to describe the Willie Shrinx show on the Kenai River. Strong oar work, while singing deep resonating spirituals, and demonstrating dazzling skills with his fishing rod. His secret... in order to get into the mind of a big fish, you must drink like one. After recieving this little pearl of wisdom, P. Dude began catching massive fish with his bare hands.

Rats on a Sinking Ship

Mr. Becker has left us to return to the Midwest. He has however vowed to return next winter to instruct all Girdwood skiiers on the finer points of powder turns, and cold weather backcountry "systems".

The Stinson

Tiffany's father, Don came up for a visit this last week. He and his friend Dave flew up from Northern Indiana in a 1941 Stinson model 10-A. It had a wooden prop and was in decidedly poor condition... which resulted in a grand adventure.

Propagada Equals Success

"Oh Party Dude, you have become rich and famous!"

-Tiffany Kelly-Peterson

56,000 lbs of Sockeye Salmon

When Tiffany married me, I told her that I would have riches and fame. Sockeye is the richest of the Salmon Species, and I think that this blog alone testifies to my fame... I say mission accomplished!

I know, those are Kings not Reds... but this is propaganda after all.

Beluga Point Sunset

En route from Anchorage to Girdwood, Moses began heaving in the back seat of the car - as he is oft to do....

so I pulled the pill to a parking place and proceeded to plant myself behind a rock, to watch the sun set. The tide was timidly turning on Turnagain Arm, twisting itself in twirls under the twilight twinkle. The silver grey water reflected its riches into the oncoming night.

Now that's good head!

From Willi's last post, it must be time for some news of absolutely no consequence from Chico, CA.

What's the most logical thing you can do when you leave everyone you know and move somewhere where you have no friends?? You get a kegerator, of course. Did I get it in anticipation of all the great new friends I am going to make here in Chico......or was it because I feel the darkness creeping in around me as I pine for the fun days of yore with friends and know I will need lots of beer? Maybe it's both, maybe it's neither, I am unemployed and have lots of time on my hands. In any case, I am proud to announce the official tapping of the first keg of Sierra Nevada pale. The fridge with the keg and carbon dioxide is in the garage and the tap comes through the wall in the utility room. It's a nice pour and I love having fresh beer at my fingertips. Not sure how long it will take to finish one, in Girdwood probably 2 group dinners, in Chico maybe 2 months. I think I'll try a Butte Creek Organic keg next, I'd better start drinking. Cheers!!
