Sadly, Mr B joined Nina and Andy today, chasing butterflies in the sky. He was a good friend, and I am certain that he is catching voles in the cloudscapes of Heaven.

Lights, Camera, Action!
It's time once again! Get out your cameras, videos and a pot of inspirational coffee and put together a film for the 2nd Annual Girdwood Film Festival somewhere on the weekend of March 16-18, 2007.
The special guest at this year's event is me and you all can figure out where to host the event and all that good stuff.

Baggin Pyramid
Its been almost a week since Phillip, Tiffany, Dan and I scaled the coveted peak.. To be honest I didn't think it would happen due to high winds expected that day and an intimidating monster cornice, but through Tiffanys brilliant suggestion, we found a way to ski the north face and I nearly soiled myself. Thanks guys for putting the fear of god in me, it was worth it.

Happy 13th Rubyn!!
Moose Meadows Rocks
Look at that smile. Proof that getting your kid outside during the winter for extended periods of time keeps their spirits up. The only thing that was slightly off putting as we walked for an hour around Moose Meadows was Max kept asking, "Where's Joe's party? Where's Joe's party? Are we going to Joe's party yet?" Remind me not to give him too much notice when we're going to a party as he gets fixated on the idea that there might be balloons, cake, pointy hats and all his friends. He wasn't disappointed!

Fight Club
In the tradition of the balloon bursting test of manhood, young Max is attempting with the open fist technique. A little pectoral squeezing from Philip, and the balloon did blow.

Open up and say ahhhhhhh
Everyone's first trip to the dentist should be like this one. The walls were covered in an ocean mural complete with humpback whales, orcas and a stoned-looking octopus. Dinosaurs roamed the waiting room while Nemo and all his friends hung from the ceiling above the exam chair. Max took it all in and decided his room should look just like this one. He opened wide and let the nice hygienist scrape and poke, grind, spray and suction and when it was all over he got a sticker, toothbrush and some kind of squishy fish. The best part is he had three cavities and we get to come back on Thursday for laughing gas, a Novocain shot, drilling and filling! Am I the best mom ever or what??

Idle Worship, Idol Worship
Since Steve and Michelle threw down the baby name challenge, Dan, Tiffany, and I went on a vision quest. We decided to climb until we reached the sun. There we said our prayers to long lost Sol, and began discussing names. We have concluded that Clarity Sebern is a beautiful handle. The last name Partridge, however is more unusual and hence more memorable. This does of course reinforce the old Patriarchal lineage deal... but then again men do and always will rule the world. On that note, it is worth mentioning that Dan's first choice was actually "Dan", making her name "Clarity Dan". This of course would not follow the old Patriarchal lineage deal. He still maintains that it's the best idea.

We need your help!
As you already know, inside of this belly is a little baby. You may not know this baby is a girl and her name will be Clarity. ( I always did want a little Clarity in my life:)
So, should it be Clarity Sebern or Carity Partridge? We do not want to hyphenate! Even if we did want to hyphenate whose name would be first? We have been having wicked cribbage competitions to try to resolve the issue but now we leave it to you to decide.
Thanks for your help!
