To Max's amazment, I made enough money on my first shift at Middle Way Cafe to afford the downpayment on my dream home. We are now going to be hermits in Hope, living the life of a gold panner. We will own goats for our milk, chickens for our eggs and you're all welcome to visit as long as you don't mind sleeping on the floor and peeing in the river.
