Girdwood, Turnagain Pass- The Girdwood Posse took on the Sunny Side of Turnagain Pass in honor of Alaska Independence Day, AKA Martin Luther King Jr. Day. It is unclear at this point whether Marty K was a two-planker or a knuckle dragger but I think given yesterday's perfect conditions he would have enjoyed himself either way. This was one of those choice, calm sunny days when the skin up is nearly as enjoyable as the ride down.Image one shows Dan pointing out how the mountains are covered with snow this time of year, thanks Dan Man, clears up a lot of embarassing questions I had.
The second shot is looking south along the ridgetop and miles of untouched happiness.
