Girdwood recieved a fat 4 inches overnight followed by a good 6 inches later in the day. This was a quality first snow, light and fluffy until about 5pm at which point it turned to sleet and then rain, but only long enough to set down a nice crust. I'm sure the top of the mountain saw well over a foot so it won't be long now folks, tune your bindings and by all means get those hammys stretched!
